Pierre Cardin is known for his pickiness and high expectations in terms of the shapes and materials of his frames. This is probably what led his team to entrust the licensed production of the brand's frames to Rochaix Neyron, the company born from the association of François Rochaix and Léon in 1924 in Oyonnax (Ain, FR).
Taken over in 1961 by Marc Rochaix and closing in 1994, the company, which employed up to 80 workers, played a key role in the history of the valley, with its acetate work and ability to create classical and timeless shapes.
Some of these classics include aviators, but we've met so many of them we've also become quite picky. This one is sleek and sharp but stays subtle in its rounded angles.
